HydraArk comprises a group of volunteers working with and within
the community to improve the welfare of the island's animals.
Its philosophy is the necessity to cultivate an harmonious
relationship between men and animals and a sense of compassion and respect
toward fragile creatures.
Its dream is that one day Hydra could become an example. An increasing number of people are involved
in the difficult but rewarding task to make island’s animals healthier and
happier.
HA believes in the importance of educating the new generation in
this project and deeply appreciates the interest of the youngest.
It also believes in Hydra and think that by improving the
conditions of life of its animals it will make it a better and more attractive
place for sensitive visitors from around the world.
